On Thursday, September 8th, with the sun slowly setting on the California coastline, nestled away in the heart of San Francisco Bay, the Paradiso and Golden Gate Club played host to the 2022 FOG RALLY. Even if you didn’t know where you were going, you knew when you arrived, the unmistakable sight of more than a dozen Ferraris lined the driveway of the Golden Gate Club, signaling to everyone – something special was happening here tonight.
This one-of-a-kind annual event is the trademark gathering of the San Francisco Bay Area Ferrari community and aims to help under-served families in partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. While attending the event, Aiper representatives met with guests from around the world for a night of giving and excitement as attendees entered raffles to win luxurious items to help donate money and bring attention to a cause that deeply affects the San Francisco Bay area.
As a sponsor, Aiper was excited to meet other donors and discuss the history of the event. At its simplest, Aiper’s focus is on bringing families and friends together and helping generate long-lasting memories. Memories were an important element of the night’s proceedings, the foundation aims to give amazing memories to those in times of need, and for others, a springboard. One special guest in particular was a previous recipient of the FOG Rally and Make-A-Wish collaboration. The embodiment of what this night was about, they told us of their experience, and delighted the crowd with a saxophone solo – the saxophone, being their wish many years previously.
Aiper too shared in the spotlight and in return treated the FOG rally attendees to a special sneak preview, and given a first look at a yet to be announced Aiper product. The auction for this flagship item wowed many of crowd in attendance and earned a final bid of $1250 that was donated to the Make-A-Wish foundation in Aiper’s name. As the night went on, the raffle provided attendees with the opportunity to win various gifts and prizes while also encouraging donations to help make families and children's wishes become reality. In addition, attendees got their first look at other select items that were for bid – from exclusive access to a private vineyard to fine jewelry.
All in all, it was an honor for Aiper to work with an organization that has raised more than $2.5 million for the Make-A-Wish Bay Area foundation, and the team was grateful to play a part in making the dreams and wishes of families in need come true.
